Committees: Make MOPS your own! There is always an opportunity for you to be more involved by serving on a committee.

Have you ever heard the saying “ It takes a village to raise a child?” Well, the same is true for a MOPS group, it takes a “village” of moms to make this MOPS group happen. It might be helping behind the scenes for 5 minutes after a meeting or helping with a special project. Read the descriptions and see if you see anything that sounds like you…then contact the leader to find out how you can be a part.

MOPPETS Teachers and classroom helpers. Help twice a month in classrooms . Work with the MOPPETS coordinator.

Discussion Group Leader: Functions as a facilitator for small group discussion and leads the
direction of the discussion as needed. Promotes and atmosphere of safety, acceptance and
belonging for each woman.  Is committed to each woman in her group, staying in regular contact with her.


Mentor Moms: Circulates at MOPS meetings, mentoring the moms one-on-one. Shares from her own experiences and insights. Encourages the Steering Team. Teach on occasion.


Publicity: Communicating with our community what’s happening within our MOPS group, through the blog, Facebook, flyers.

Finance: Behind the scenes help with administrative type duties, helping with mailings, and
registration table. Collecting the dues.

Group Photographer: Help document the year. Add pictures to the blog and Facebook.
